Astronaut Helmet Sticker

$3.50

Helmets are a key component of an astronaut’s spacesuit, which protects the wearer from the near-vacuum pressure and extremely cold temperatures of space. An astronaut’s helmet doesn’t move, so astronauts can’t turn their heads to look around. To minimize the need for astronauts to move their entire bodies to look around, the helmet of a spacesuit includes what is called an Extravehicular Visor Assembly, or EVA. The EVA is designed to give astronauts as wide a field-of-view as possible, lending to a visor that takes up a significant portion of the helmet’s front.
