These test tube enamel pins were designed to increase visibility of LGBTQ+ identities in STEM. There are lots of cool pride-inspired enamel pin series out there, but it felt like there wasn’t a lot of representation for scientists. These pins were made to help close that gap.

To help efforts to support and empower the LGBTQ+ science community, $3 from each pin will go toward oSTEM (Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Inc., a non-profit professional society focused on LGBTQ people in the STEM community. oSTEM has more than 75 student chapters at colleges and universities, as well as professional chapters in cities, across the U.S. The organization aims to cultivate environments and communities that nurture innovation, leadership, and advocacy, as well as to empower LGBTQ people to succeed personally, academically, and professionally in STEM.
